Media Policy

Archbishop Shaw High School values the exposure that media coverage brings to our institution and recognizes its role in promoting our athletic programs. Media access to our athletic events is permitted strictly for reporting purposes. The capture of photos or videos for commercial gain or resale is expressly prohibited.

Additionally, no student-athlete or their family is permitted to hire external photographers or videographers to document our events. Any such individuals will be denied entry.

All media personnel must obtain an Archbishop Shaw Media Pass, which can be acquired by contacting Athletic Director Tom Alef at alef6@archbishopshaw.us at least one day prior to the event. Media access will not be granted on the day of the event under any circumstances.
