Rooted in Faith, Guided by Tradition

At Archbishop Shaw, our Catholic and Salesian identity is at the heart of everything we do.

Built on the teachings of the Church and the rich traditions of the Salesians of Don Bosco, we foster a faith-filled environment where students grow spiritually as well as academically.

From daily prayer and school-wide Masses to opportunities for confession, retreats, and service, our students are immersed in the sacramental life of the Church. Inspired by the Salesian charism of Saint John Bosco, we emphasize reason, religion, and loving kindness—creating a brotherhood where young men are formed into servant leaders with strong moral character.

Faith isn’t just taught here—it’s lived. At Shaw, students deepen their relationship with Christ, strengthen their commitment to service, and develop a foundation of faith that will guide them for life.

The Three Pillars of the Salesian Preventive System

RELIGION

Faith is at the core of everything we do. Through the sacraments, prayer, and service, students deepen their relationship with Christ and develop a strong moral foundation.

LOVING KINDNESS

We’re a family where students know they are valued, supported, and loved. By forming genuine relationships with their educators and peers, they experience a community built on trust, encouragement, and fraternity.

More than Teachers–Mentors for Life

At Shaw, our educators do more than teach—they invest in every student’s success, offering guidance in and out of the classroom. As mentors and members of the community, they are dedicated to helping our students grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
