For over 40 years, Archbishop Shaw has provided a quality summer camp based on Catholic and Salesian values to the boys and girls of the Westbank. Our team of veteran teachers and coaches focus on helping the campers develop socially, emotionally, spiritually and physically.
Campers choose the activities each week that they want to participate in. With a plethora of choices including swimming in our enormous pool, dancing, cooking, arts & crafts, frisbee, dodgeball, flag football, baseball, T-ball, game room, soccer, kickball, and many more, there is always something fun and engaging for every camper. We are constantly looking for new activities to engage our campers even more!
Our goal as a camp is to provide more than just an athletic experience: we want to be a family for each camper. Our group activities, weekly awards, daily prayer and Mass all focus on helping to make our camp and home for every person that walks through our doors.
We can’t wait to feature your son or daughter in our weekly newsletters about all the great things happening at Archbishop Shaw’s Summer Camp.
IMPORTANT: We cannot guarantee spot availability for our 2023 summer camp for anyone who chooses to register after May 27th, 2023 at 3:00 PM.
Note: If you register via paper copy, you will still need to enroll via our camp database so we can communicate effectively.
Create your FREE account at archbishopshaw.campium.com.
You do not need to add a “New Camper”; your child will be added to your account by our staff.
Given the active nature of the camp activities, campers should come dressed for summer time weather and wear sunscreen.
Campers ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR CAMP ISSUED T-SHIRTS, shorts, socks, and tennis shoes each day. Additional camp T-Shirts may be purchased for $10 each.
Campers should bring their bathing suit, pool shoes, and towel each day for swimming.
All personal items (clothes, bags, towels etc.) should be clearly marked with the camper’s name on it.
Mr. Benjamin Russo, M. Ed., serves as the camp director. This is Mr. Russo’s eleventh year teaching at Archbishop Shaw, sixth year as Assistant Head of School of Student Formation and eighth year with summer camp. He is dedicated to providing a safe, enjoyable, and enriching faith-filled environment where everyone can make friends and grow closer to God. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Russo directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
We are committed, through the teachings of St. John Bosco and his preventive system, to make sure that each camper has only one concern this summer- having fun!
