Parent Association

Dear 2023-2024 Archbishop Shaw High School Parents/Guardians,

We have an exciting year ahead of us. Many wonderful things are going on at
Archbishop Shaw High School. The Parent Association will help you remain informed
and involved in your son’s high school experience. The Association sponsors or
participates in many activities to benefit the students and the school. Many of them are
fundraising events. The funds raised are used for needs that are not provided by the
existing school budget. Besides fundraising events, our other events are supportive in
nature, for example, assisting with Open House, select awards ceremonies, and
merchandise sales at select events.

We welcome and encourage all parents/guardians to become active participants in the
Parent Association. This year we have decided to revamp our Parent Association.
Instead of monthly meetings, we will be conducting bi-monthly meetings or socials that
will be geared toward special events. A message will be sent out to parents containing
all upcoming events and parents can choose which ones to volunteer and receive more
information about. At the conclusion of the school year, the Parent Association will host
a school social for our parents. All parents (families) who have contributed 5 or more
volunteer hours will be invited to attend. In addition, we are in the process of planning a
fall and a spring fundraising social event. Feel free to contact any of the members below
with any questions or to volunteer to be a grade level class representative. Looking
forward to another great year.
