We seek a faithful and inspiring Theology educator to guide high school students in deepening their understanding of Catholic doctrine and fostering their spiritual and intellectual growth within our all-boys Catholic educational community.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate mastery of Catholic theology and effective teaching strategies that promote spiritual reflection and moral reasoning.
  • Maintain strong classroom management, high academic standards, and a commitment to faith formation rooted in Christian values.
  • Collaborate with theology colleagues, communicate effectively with families, and engage in ongoing professional and spiritual growth.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm for theological education, ethical conduct, and openness to feedback.
  • Live Catholic values and contribute to our faith community through service and Gospel-centered relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or related field (Master’s in Theology or related field preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification in Religious Studies or Theology preferred.
  • High school Theology teaching experience preferred.
  • Commitment to Catholic education and ability to integrate faith perspectives into theological instruction.
  • Strong technology skills, including experience with digital learning tools and student engagement platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, standards-aligned theology lessons and provide timely student feedback.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, liturgies, and school events.
  • Support extracurricular activities such as retreats, service projects, or faith-based clubs.
  • Maintain parent communication on student spiritual and academic progress.
  • Collaborate on theology curriculum development and faith formation initiatives.
