Saint John Bosco, in his ministry to serve the young, often identified and encouraged young men who he felt had vocations. In the same way, we believe that becoming a Shaw student is a calling to a relationship with God and others.
We work to identify those young men who need the encouragement to pursue that calling. Archbishop Shaw has unique financial aid opportunities that can help to offset the cost of education.
Here at Archbishop Shaw, we understand that the high tuition costs of a Catholic High School education makes it out of reach for some. The goal of Salesian Aid is to give every family the opportunity to apply for some level of assistance to fill the gap between the tuition rate and what you can afford. This program does include a work study component based on each family’s level of assistance.
The application process for this opportunity is completed using the TADS online tuition assistance and financial assessment portal.
The Champions of Catholic Education (CCE) fund was established with the goal of providing tuition assistance to make Catholic education more affordable. It is administered by the Archdiocese of New Orleans Department of Catholic Education and Faith Formation and The Catholic Community Foundation. The application process for Champions of Catholic Education is available the first week in March to the first week in April each year.
