8th Grade Service

As part of our faith identity and growth we provide opportunities for the students to attend a retreat to learn more about their faith, how God works within their lives, and how others can also be a guiding factor to a stronger faith life with Christ. Our 8th grade spent a couple days doing this and putting faith to action by assisting a non-profit (Cafe Hope) in their work as well as experiencing the importance of collaboration and team work. The Catholic faith is more than just prayers, it is about being the hands of Jesus and being active in bringing about the Kingdom of God. Some times you have to get your hands dirty in helping, volunteering, and working in order to be Christ for others. Working as a team and having a unified vision of the ultimate goal helps us become better Christians and citizens.
