The Archbishop Shaw High School yearbook, The Talon, is an annual production by our publications class. The Talon and Video Talon are compilations of the year's happenings, including everything from Mass to sporting events and class projects. The publications class strives to create a book full of memories through photographing and reporting on these events.
Work on The Talon takes place throughout the school year. Publications class is open to students in grades 11 and 12 by department approval. Students who participate in the class will be required to use their skills to interview others, write articles, take photos, and manipulate graphics. The Publications class currently consists of 22 juniors and seniors and is moderated by Ms. Jennifer Buuck. This year's Editor-In-Chief for The Talon is senior Joshua DiSalvo. Assistant editors include Layout Editor Christopher Lomonaco and Managing Editor Hunter Hidalgo, both seniors.
