Application Requirements
ALL applicants are required to submit an Archbishop Shaw Admissions Application
and Health Form to the school, along with the following:
 A $20.00 High School Placement Test Fee
A copy of their birth certificate
A copy of their immunization records
Grades and test scores from 5th grade and above for each school the student attended
The student's most recent report card

Acceptance Criteria
At the core of Archbishop Shaw High School's philosophy is the Salesian educational system
of St. John Bosco, which recognizes the worth and dignity of all individuals as children of God with unique
gifts and skills. Thus every applicant is deserving of serious consideration as a potential recipient of our
best efforts toward Christian education.
However, applicants must be able to document or demonstrate that they can perform academically at an appropriate
age and/or grade level. The physical facilities, the design of the curriculum, and guidance opportunities require
that admissions personnel accept, out of justice, students who can function independently and successfully in a traditional
classroom environment.
